Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor server infrastructure, applications, and networks during night shifts to ensure maximum uptime and security.
- Execute routine system patching, updates, and maintenance tasks to mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Respond to and resolve Tier 2+ technical incidents and service requests via ticketing systems.
- Conduct regular backups and disaster recovery drills to ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with Day Shift teams to transition critical issues and document incident reports.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal security protocols and IT governance standards.
Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance or willingness to undergo background investigation.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Systems Administration or IT Support.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP) and Linux environments.
- Experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, VPN) and firewall management.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts without direct supervision.
- Relevant certifications such as Security+, Network+, or CCNA.
