Responsibilities
- Assist in construction, repair, and maintenance of public infrastructure (roads, sidewalks, parks)
- Operate light machinery and tools under supervision (e.g., jackhammers, saws)
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, and material handling
- Support environmental protection efforts during work operations
- Document work progress and complete required reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on daily assignments
Qualifications
- No prior experience required—training provided
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license (Class C or higher)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
