Responsibilities
- Perform general landscaping duties, including mowing, weeding, trimming, and planting.
- Maintain park facilities, restrooms, and playground equipment to ensure safety and cleanliness.
- Assist with the setup, operation, and breakdown of community events, festivals, and recreational programs.
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and hand tools in a safe and efficient manner.
- Monitor park grounds for safety hazards, vandalism, or maintenance issues and report them promptly.
- Interact with the public, answering inquiries and providing excellent customer service.
- Collect and empty trash and recycling bins in designated areas.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or public service is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Valid Class C Texas Driver’s License with a good driving record.
- Basic knowledge of lawn care equipment and tools.
- Strong commitment to customer service and community engagement.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
