Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds including turf care, litter removal, and landscaping upkeep
- Operate maintenance equipment safely (mowers, trimmers, irrigation systems)
- Monitor park facilities for safety hazards and report maintenance needs
- Assist with event setup and breakdown for community activities
- Provide excellent customer service to park visitors and address inquiries
- Enforce park regulations and ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members on daily operational tasks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of park maintenance practices and equipment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Experience with public parks or recreational facilities preferred
