Responsibilities
- Perform routine groundskeeping and landscaping duties, including mowing, raking, trimming, and weeding.
- Maintain and repair park facilities, restrooms, and recreational equipment to ensure a safe environment.
- Assist with the set-up and breakdown of community events, sports leagues, and public programs.
- Monitor park grounds for safety hazards, vandalism, or maintenance needs and report promptly.
- Interact positively with park visitors, answering questions and providing excellent customer service.
- Operate and maintain light landscaping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
- Basic knowledge of gardening, landscaping, and plant care.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
- Valid Driver's License and ability to operate a motor vehicle.
- Experience with power tools and landscaping equipment is a plus.
