Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair park facilities, including restrooms, picnic areas, and playground equipment.
- Perform landscaping duties such as mowing, trimming, raking, and planting trees and flowers.
- Collect and empty trash receptacles, ensuring parks are clean and litter-free.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of community events and recreational programs.
- Inspect park grounds for safety hazards and report necessary repairs to supervisors.
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid New Mexico Driver’s License is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of landscaping tools and maintenance procedures.
- Strong commitment to customer service and community engagement.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a cohesive team.
