Responsibilities
- Maintain park landscapes, athletic fields, and recreational facilities
- Lead youth/adult sports programs and community events
- Enforce park safety protocols and conduct routine inspections
- Assist with facility bookings and customer service inquiries
- Operate maintenance equipment (mowers, trimmers, etc.)
- Collaborate with team on seasonal beautification projects
- Respond to emergency situations with first aid/CPR protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Florida driver's license
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- 1+ years groundskeeping or recreation experience preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in Florida climate (heat/humidity)
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Basic equipment maintenance knowledge
- Background check clearance required
