Responsibilities
- Maintain park landscapes, facilities, and equipment to safety standards
- Operate recreational facilities (pools, athletic courts, playgrounds)
- Lead community events, youth programs, and outdoor activities
- Provide excellent customer service to park visitors
- Conduct routine inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects
- Enforce park rules and ensure visitor safety
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Florida Driver's License with clean record
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience in groundskeeping, facility maintenance, or recreation programs
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
- Preferred: Lifeguard certification or experience in youth programming
