Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and business addresses along assigned routes
- Collect outgoing mail from mailboxes and collection boxes
- Sort and organize mail efficiently according to delivery standards
- Operate delivery vehicles and maintain accurate delivery records
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve delivery inquiries
- Adhere to all USPS safety regulations and delivery protocols
- Work in various weather conditions while maintaining route efficiency
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift heavy mail trays and packages (up to 70 lbs)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and work outdoors
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for tracking deliveries
