Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance of parks, playgrounds, sports fields, and walking trails
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment including mowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental standards
- Assist in organizing and supervising recreational programs and events
- Conduct facility inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide excellent customer service to park visitors and community members
- Collaborate with team members on seasonal beautification projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California Driver's License with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Experience in grounds maintenance or park operations preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong work ethic and reliability in all weather conditions
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and evenings
- Basic knowledge of horticulture and turf management
