Responsibilities
- Maintain park facilities, playgrounds, and green spaces ensuring safety and aesthetic appeal
- Organize and lead recreational programs, sports leagues, and community events
- Operate maintenance equipment including mowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems
- Provide exceptional customer service to park visitors and program participants
- Enforce park regulations and safety protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on facility improvements and special projects
- Document maintenance activities and prepare routine reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid New Mexico driver's license with clean record
- Experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or recreation programs preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification within 60 days of hire
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor
- Basic knowledge of park maintenance equipment and safety protocols
