Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance of parks, playgrounds, and athletic fields including mowing, pruning, and irrigation
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment safely and efficiently
- Set up/break down for community events, sports leagues, and recreational programs
- Inspect facilities for safety hazards, damage, or maintenance needs
- Assist with facility cleaning, trash removal, and restroom sanitization
- Provide excellent customer service to park visitors and program participants
- Collaborate with team members on seasonal projects and special events
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid New Mexico driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of landscaping practices and park maintenance
- Experience operating hand/power tools and commercial equipment preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
