Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds including landscaping, equipment, and facilities
- Organize and lead recreational programs for youth and adults
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and emergency protocols
- Assist with event setup and coordination of community activities
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of park amenities
- Provide excellent customer service to park visitors
- Collaborate with team members on seasonal projects and initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ years of parks, recreation, or grounds maintenance experience preferred
- Valid NC driver's license with clean driving record
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor
- Experience with basic maintenance tools and equipment
