Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain park facilities, playgrounds, sports courts, and green spaces
- Facilitate recreational programs including youth sports, fitness classes, and community events
- Enforce park safety protocols and provide exceptional customer service to visitors
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and minor repairs on equipment and facilities
- Support seasonal operations including setup/breakdown for festivals and tournaments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance park accessibility and inclusivity
- Document facility conditions and maintenance requirements using digital systems
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in recreation management preferred
- 1+ years experience in parks, groundskeeping, or customer service role
- Valid Nevada driver's license with clean driving record
- CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, operate grounds equipment, and work in extreme weather
- Strong conflict resolution skills and ability to enforce policies diplomatically
- Proficiency with basic maintenance tools and digital reporting systems
