Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds, athletic fields, and green spaces including mowing, irrigation, and pest control
- Operate and perform routine maintenance on recreational equipment and facilities
- Assist with setup and supervision of community events, sports leagues, and youth programs
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with department regulations
- Collaborate with team members on facility improvement projects and seasonal preparations
- Provide excellent customer service to park visitors and program participants
- Complete daily maintenance logs and incident reports as required
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year experience in grounds maintenance, facility operations, or recreation services
- Valid Nevada driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in varying weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of park equipment maintenance and safety standards
- First Aid/CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
