Responsibilities
- Operate park maintenance equipment (mowers, trimmers, irrigation systems)
- Install and repair playground equipment and sports facilities
- Monitor park conditions and report safety hazards
- Lead volunteer groups for park beautification projects
- Assist with special events (festivals, concerts, tournaments)
- Enforce park regulations and visitor safety protocols
- Perform seasonal facility winterization/summerization
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Nebraska driver's license (Class B preferred)
- 1+ years groundskeeping or facility maintenance experience
- First Aid/CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 60 days)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of turf management and horticulture
- Strong communication and customer service skills
