Responsibilities
- Operate park facilities including athletic courts, playgrounds, and community centers
- Lead recreational programs for diverse age groups (sports, arts, fitness)
- Perform daily maintenance of park grounds (landscaping, equipment checks)
- Enforce safety protocols and assist emergency situations
- Manage inventory and maintain recreational equipment
- Collaborate with community groups for event coordination
- Document facility conditions and maintenance needs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Experience in customer service or public recreation preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of park maintenance equipment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Background check and drug screening required
- Must be available for weekend/evening shifts
