Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds including turf management, litter removal, and facility upkeep
- Safely operate park equipment (mowers, trimmers, irrigation systems)
- Support recreation programs including sports leagues and summer camps
- Enforce park safety protocols and assist visitors with inquiries
- Collaborate with maintenance teams on seasonal projects
- Document facility conditions and report maintenance needs
- Participate in emergency response drills and weather-related closures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- 1+ years grounds maintenance or recreation experience preferred
- Ability to perform physical labor in all weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of turf management and horticulture practices
- Customer service-oriented with conflict resolution skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
