Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds including turf management, litter removal, and seasonal landscaping
- Operate recreational facilities (pools, courts, playgrounds) and conduct safety inspections
- Assist with event setup/teardown for festivals, sports leagues, and cultural programs
- Provide excellent customer service to park visitors and address inquiries professionally
- Complete maintenance reports and inventory tracking for equipment/supplies
- Collaborate with full-time staff on facility improvement projects
- Enforce park rules and safety guidelines during operational hours
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license (required for equipment operation)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding outdoor tasks
- Strong communication skills and customer service aptitude
- Basic knowledge of grounds maintenance or recreational facility operations
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Experience with landscaping tools or sports equipment maintenance preferred
