Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain park facilities, playgrounds, sports courts, and irrigation systems
- Perform daily inspections to ensure safety compliance and address maintenance needs
- Assist in event setup, breakdown, and crowd management for park activities
- Implement landscape management practices including planting, pruning, and pest control
- Support environmental conservation initiatives through habitat restoration projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on park development and improvement projects
- Engage with park visitors to provide information and exceptional customer service
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, or recreation services
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to operate power tools, machinery, and irrigation equipment safely
- Strong physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of horticulture, turf management, and pest control practices
- Excellent communication skills and commitment to community service values
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks
