Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds including landscaping, irrigation systems, and recreational facilities
- Lead and coordinate community events, festivals, and youth programs
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance protocols
- Assist in facility operations including pool management and equipment rentals
- Respond to citizen inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects
- Conduct routine inspections and prepare maintenance reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year experience in park maintenance or recreation services
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Valid Nevada driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Basic knowledge of turf management and irrigation systems
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
