Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance of park landscapes including mowing, pruning, irrigation, and litter removal
- Operate park equipment (mowers, trimmers, tractors) safely and efficiently
- Install and maintain playground equipment, sports fields, and park amenities
- Assist with event setup/teardown for community festivals and recreational programs
- Conduct routine safety inspections and report hazards immediately
- Support seasonal planting projects and invasive species removal
- Interact professionally with park visitors and address inquiries
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred
- Valid Colorado driver's license with clean record
- Experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or park maintenance
- Ability to perform physical labor in varying weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of horticulture and turf management
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and operate hand/power tools
