Responsibilities
- Maintain park facilities, playgrounds, and athletic courts ensuring safety and cleanliness
- Assist with special events, sports leagues, and recreational programming
- Operate maintenance equipment (mowers, trimmers, irrigation systems)
- Provide excellent customer service to park visitors and community groups
- Perform routine inspections and report facility maintenance needs
- Support habitat restoration and conservation projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on park improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework preferred)
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather
- Basic knowledge of turf management and horticulture
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience in customer service or event coordination
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
