Responsibilities
- Maintain park cleanliness, including litter removal, restroom sanitization, and equipment upkeep
- Assist with event setup, staffing, and breakdown for festivals, sports leagues, and community programs
- Perform light landscape maintenance (e.g., pruning, watering, planting seasonal flowers)
- Monitor park usage and enforce safety protocols for visitors
- Support youth and senior recreational activities as directed
- Report maintenance issues and safety hazards to supervisors
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Louisiana driver's license
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of park maintenance equipment (hand tools preferred)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift 25 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Availability to work weekends and evenings as needed
