Responsibilities
- Operate park equipment (mowers, trimmers, irrigation systems) for landscape maintenance
- Organize and supervise recreational activities for diverse age groups
- Inspect facilities for safety hazards and perform minor repairs
- Enforce park regulations and provide visitor assistance
- Coordinate seasonal events (festivals, sports tournaments, educational programs)
- Collaborate with maintenance teams on habitat conservation projects
- Document park usage and maintenance activities in digital systems
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred
- Valid Missouri driver's license with clean record
- First Aid/CPR certification within 30 days of hire
- Experience operating landscaping or recreational equipment
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Knowledge of local flora/fauna and environmental practices
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
