Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance of park facilities including playgrounds, sports courts, and walking paths
- Operate landscaping equipment and maintain green spaces with seasonal planting/horticulture
- Assist with recreational program setup, supervision, and event coordination
- Conduct routine safety inspections and report maintenance needs
- Engage with park visitors, provide information, and enforce park regulations
- Support cleanup operations and waste management protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with clean record
- Experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or recreation programs preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varied weather
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic knowledge of park safety regulations and equipment operation
