Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds, athletic fields, and recreational facilities through daily cleaning, landscaping, and equipment upkeep
- Operate park machinery including mowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently
- Assist with event setup/breakdown for community festivals, sports leagues, and cultural activities
- Monitor park usage, enforce safety protocols, and provide visitor assistance
- Perform routine inspections and report maintenance issues or safety hazards
- Collaborate with team members on seasonal projects and special events
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, or park operations preferred
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Basic knowledge of park equipment operation and maintenance
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
