Responsibilities
- Maintain park landscapes, facilities, and equipment to city standards
- Lead recreational activities and educational programs for all age groups
- Enforce safety protocols and provide first aid assistance when needed
- Operate maintenance equipment (mowers, trimmers, irrigation systems)
- Collaborate with team on seasonal events and community initiatives
- Document maintenance activities and report facility concerns
- Support park cleanliness initiatives and waste management
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas Driver's License with clean record
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience in grounds maintenance or recreation programs preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor
- Basic knowledge of park safety regulations
