Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain park facilities including playgrounds, sports courts, and walking trails
- Lead recreational activities for diverse age groups (sports, arts, nature programs)
- Ensure safety compliance and conduct routine facility inspections
- Assist in event setup and coordination for community gatherings
- Provide excellent customer service to park visitors and residents
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of assigned park areas
- Collaborate with team members on seasonal projects and initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Florida driver's license (preferred)
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Basic knowledge of recreational programming (training provided)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain during training)
- Pass background check and drug screening
