Responsibilities
- Perform daily park maintenance including groundskeeping, facility cleaning, and equipment upkeep
- Assist with recreational program setup, supervision, and participant engagement
- Monitor park usage, enforce safety protocols, and address visitor inquiries
- Operate maintenance equipment safely (mowers, trimmers, irrigation systems)
- Support special events setup, teardown, and crowd management
- Document maintenance activities and report facility concerns
- Collaborate with staff on seasonal park beautification projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Arizona Driver's License and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, and work in varied weather
- Basic knowledge of groundskeeping tools and safety procedures
- Excellent communication skills and customer service focus
- Availability for weekend/evening shifts and seasonal demands
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred (training provided if needed)
- Experience in parks, recreation, or hospitality preferred
