Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance of park grounds, athletic fields, and recreational facilities
- Operate landscaping equipment and tools safely and efficiently
- Assist in organizing and executing community events, sports leagues, and educational programs
- Enforce park regulations while providing exceptional customer service to visitors
- Collaborate with team members on facility improvements and beautification projects
- Conduct routine safety inspections and report maintenance needs
- Support sustainability initiatives through proper waste management and conservation practices
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in recreation management preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in park maintenance, landscaping, or customer service
- Valid Florida Driver's License and clean driving record
- Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification within 60 days of hire
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse community members
- Basic knowledge of turf management, irrigation systems, and horticulture
