Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds, athletic fields, and recreational facilities daily
- Operate maintenance equipment (mowers, trimmers, irrigation systems) safely
- Assist with special event setup and breakdown at community parks
- Perform safety inspections and report facility hazards promptly
- Support youth/adult recreation programs and coaching duties
- Enforce park rules and provide visitor guidance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on improvement projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Texas Class C Driver's License with clean record
- 1+ years landscaping or facility maintenance experience
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Valid pesticide applicator license preferred
- Experience with irrigation systems a plus
