Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain park facilities, playgrounds, and sports fields
- Lead recreational programs (sports, arts, nature education) for diverse age groups
- Ensure safety compliance and conduct routine equipment inspections
- Coordinate volunteer groups and community events
- Perform seasonal maintenance including landscaping, snow removal, and facility upkeep
- Enforce park regulations while providing exceptional visitor assistance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Valid NYS Driver's License
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience in customer service or public interaction
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
