Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds including landscaping, irrigation systems, and playground equipment
- Operate light machinery (mowers, trimmers) for groundskeeping tasks
- Set up/break down recreational facilities for events and activities
- Enforce park safety rules and assist visitors with inquiries
- Perform routine facility inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with team members on special projects and seasonal preparations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid California Driver's License
- Experience in groundskeeping or facility maintenance preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of park safety protocols and equipment operation
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods
