Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds including landscaping, playground equipment, and athletic facilities
- Operate recreational facilities (pools, community centers, sports courts)
- Lead youth/adult programs (sports, arts, fitness classes)
- Enforce safety protocols and provide first aid when needed
- Assist with event setup and community outreach initiatives
- Perform routine equipment inspections and minor repairs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Red Cross First Aid/CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Experience in landscaping, facility maintenance, or customer service preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather
- Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation
