Responsibilities
- Maintain and beautify parks, trails, and recreational facilities through landscaping, irrigation checks, and equipment upkeep
- Safely operate maintenance machinery including mowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems
- Monitor park usage, enforce safety protocols, and provide excellent customer service to visitors
- Assist with event setup, breakdown, and logistical support for community programs
- Conduct routine facility inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on seasonal projects and beautification initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with 1+ years of maintenance or recreation experience
- Valid Arizona driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work outdoors in Arizona's climate and lift up to 50 pounds
- Basic knowledge of landscaping tools, irrigation systems, and safety protocols
- Strong communication skills and commitment to public service excellence
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred (training provided if needed)
