Responsibilities
- Maintenance & Landscaping: Perform routine maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, weeding, and general landscaping to ensure parks and recreational facilities are clean, safe, and visually appealing.
- Facility Upkeep: Assist in the repair and maintenance of park structures, playground equipment, restrooms, and recreational buildings.
- Event Support: Set up and dismantle equipment for community events, sports games, and festivals; provide general assistance as needed.
- Trash & Recycling: Monitor trash receptacles and enforce recycling programs to maintain environmental standards.
- Customer Service: Interact positively with park visitors, answering questions, enforcing rules, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for families and individuals.
- Seasonal Operations: Assist in snow removal, ice control, and winterization tasks during off-peak seasons to keep facilities accessible year-round.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Licensure: Valid Colorado Driver’s License and a satisfactory driving record required.
- Experience: Previous experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Physical Ability: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Skills: Basic knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment; strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to work well within a team and independently.
