Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair park facilities, playground equipment, and athletic courts to ensure safety standards.
- Perform landscaping duties, including mowing, trimming, weeding, and planting flowers/trees.
- Clean and sanitize public restrooms, picnic areas, and park structures regularly.
- Assist with the setup and teardown of community events, sports leagues, and recreational programs.
- Operate power equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and dump trucks safely and efficiently.
- Monitor park grounds to identify safety hazards, debris, or maintenance needs.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in landscaping, maintenance, or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physical labor including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Valid Nevada Class C Driver’s License and a good driving record.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and early mornings.
- Basic knowledge of power tools and landscaping equipment is a plus.
