Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of public parks, playgrounds, and recreational facilities.
- Perform routine groundskeeping tasks including mowing, raking, trimming, and litter removal.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of community events, festivals, and sports leagues.
- Clean and maintain restrooms, picnic areas, and parking lots.
- Monitor park activities to ensure compliance with rules and regulations.
- Operate light landscaping equipment and hand tools safely.
- Respond to public inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or public service is a plus but not required.
- Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Basic knowledge of safety protocols and equipment operation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
