Responsibilities
- Maintain and clean public parks, trails, playgrounds, and recreational facilities to ensure a safe environment for visitors.
- Assist in the setup, operation, and breakdown of community events, festivals, and sports leagues.
- Perform landscaping duties including mowing, raking, weeding, and planting trees or flowers.
- Monitor park activities, enforce rules, and report maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors.
- Operate and maintain light groundskeeping equipment, such as mowers, trimmers, and rakes.
- Interact with the public in a friendly and professional manner, providing information and assistance.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record (preferred).
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment is a plus but not required.
- Willingness to follow safety protocols and operate machinery responsibly.
