Responsibilities
- Maintain and clean park facilities, including restrooms, picnic areas, and playgrounds.
- Perform general groundskeeping tasks, including mowing, trimming, and landscaping.
- Set up and break down recreational equipment for games and special events.
- Interact with the public to provide information and ensure safety regulations are followed.
- Monitor park areas to prevent vandalism and ensure proper usage of facilities.
- Assist in the maintenance and minor repair of park equipment and structures.
- Operate light machinery and tools, such as lawnmowers and leaf blowers, safely.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of landscaping and maintenance practices is a plus but not required.
- Strong commitment to customer service and community engagement.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
