Responsibilities
- Maintenance: Perform manual labor tasks including mowing lawns, raking leaves, trimming hedges, and maintaining athletic courts.
- Facility Upkeep: Clean and repair park facilities, restrooms, and playground equipment to ensure safety standards are met.
- Event Support: Assist with the setup and breakdown of community events, festivals, and sports leagues.
- Trash Removal: Empty trash receptacles and perform litter patrol to keep park grounds pristine.
- Groundskeeping: Plant flowers, trees, and shrubs, and perform general landscaping duties.
- Customer Service: Interact with park visitors to answer questions and address concerns in a professional manner.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or custodial work is preferred but not required.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- License: A valid driver's license is preferred.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
