Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds, athletic fields, and recreational facilities
- Operate maintenance equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist with community events and youth programs
- Enforce park rules and ensure visitor safety
- Perform seasonal park beautification and landscaping
- Respond to visitor inquiries and provide exceptional service
- Collaborate with team members on facility upkeep projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in all weather
- Valid driver's license (required within 30 days)
- No prior experience necessary – training provided
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of park maintenance preferred
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
