Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain park facilities, playgrounds, and sports equipment
- Organize and lead recreational programs (sports, arts, community events)
- Ensure park safety through routine inspections and hazard prevention
- Provide exceptional customer service to park visitors and community members
- Collaborate with maintenance teams on landscaping and facility upkeep
- Assist in emergency response procedures and first aid administration
- Support sustainability initiatives through eco-friendly park practices
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Minimum 1 year experience in parks, recreation, or customer service
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid California driver's license (Class C)
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Physical ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
