Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain park facilities including playgrounds, athletic courts, and walking paths
- Lead engaging recreational programs for diverse age groups (sports, arts, fitness)
- Enforce safety protocols and conduct routine park inspections
- Coordinate logistics for community events and festivals
- Perform light landscaping and maintenance duties
- Provide exceptional customer service to park visitors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on facility improvements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- 6+ months experience in park maintenance, event coordination, or customer service
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid California Driver's License with clean record
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Basic knowledge of recreation programming and facility operations
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Physical ability to perform manual labor in outdoor environments
