Responsibilities
- Maintain Park Facilities: Perform routine cleaning, landscaping, and maintenance of park grounds, playgrounds, and restrooms to ensure a welcoming environment.
- Event Support: Assist with the setup, breakdown, and supervision of recreational events, sports leagues, and community gatherings.
- Trash Collection: Collect and empty trash receptacles regularly to ensure public areas remain clean and litter-free.
- Equipment Maintenance: Inspect, clean, and perform minor maintenance checks on park equipment and tools.
- Customer Service: Interact with the public, answer inquiries, and provide information about park activities and programs.
- Safety Compliance: Monitor park areas to ensure safety rules are followed and report any hazards or maintenance issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Experience: Previous experience in landscaping, custodial work, or customer service is a plus but not mandatory.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to perform moderate to heavy physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Driver’s License: Valid Nevada Driver’s License is required.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
