Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair athletic fields, playgrounds, and park grounds to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal.
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers.
- Assist in the maintenance and cleaning of public restrooms, picnic areas, and recreational facilities.
- Monitor park areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations and rules of conduct.
- Support special events and community programs by setting up equipment and assisting attendees.
- Perform light construction and carpentry duties as needed, including repairing fences and structures.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to perform physical labor including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
- Valid Driver's License is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of landscaping or construction tools is a plus.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong commitment to customer service and public safety.
