Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain park facilities, playgrounds, and athletic courts
- Lead community recreation programs and special events
- Perform landscape maintenance and seasonal plant care
- Ensure safety compliance and emergency response protocols
- Engage with park visitors and address community needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on park improvement projects
- Document maintenance activities and program attendance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification during training
- Physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of tools and equipment operation
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Valid California Driver's License (Class C)
- Ability to work flexible weekends and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
