As a Parks and Recreation Worker, you will play a vital role in maintaining the beauty and safety of our parks, trails, and recreational facilities.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and clean park grounds, including mowing, raking, and litter removal.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of recreational events, festivals, and sports leagues.
- Perform basic maintenance on park facilities, restrooms, and playground equipment.
- Monitor park areas to ensure visitor safety and enforce park rules.
- Plant, water, and maintain trees, flowers, and landscaping features.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment.
- Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards public service.
