Responsibilities
- Mow, trim, and edge lawns and athletic fields to maintain a pristine appearance.
- Clean and maintain park facilities, restrooms, and playground equipment.
- Remove litter, debris, and invasive plant species from park grounds and trails.
- Assist in the set-up and breakdown of recreational events and community programs.
- Operate landscaping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and chainsaws, safely and efficiently.
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and vandalism to supervisors immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or general maintenance preferred.
- Ability to operate and maintain various power tools and heavy machinery.
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license (Class C) is a plus but not required.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working in all weather conditions.
- Strong commitment to customer service and community safety.
